THE EVERYDAY DIFFERENCE

Care for the moments that feel a little too much.

A thunderstorm, visitors or a change of routine can make a familiar day feel different. Your dog deserves a considered approach, not a promise to switch anxiety off. These chews offer a supplement option to discuss alongside a calm environment and appropriate behavioral support.

Inside this formula

The ingredient list includes L-theanine, chamomile, valerian root, passion flower and melatonin. Review the complete label before use, especially alongside other calming products.

02

Why this format

Chews provide an alternative to liquid calming supplements. Follow the product-specific timing and serving directions rather than a generic daily schedule.

03

Choose your option

Compare both the number of chews and the net weight. Our listed packs include different chew sizes, so a higher count does not automatically mean more product or a longer supply.

AT HOME, IN YOUR ROUTINE

A clear plan starts with the right directions.

  1. 1
    Check the complete label

Confirm intended species, ingredients and any age-related limits. Check the instructions for your exact selected product.

  2. 2
    Use the product-specific directions

Use the serving and timing instructions on the pack you receive. Do not transfer a dose from another format, formula or pet.

  3. 3
Keep the whole routine in mind

Review existing food, supplements and medication with your veterinarian before combining products or changing care.

BEFORE YOU CHOOSE

Good questions. Clearer choices.

Will this sedate my dog or work immediately?

Neither an immediate effect nor an absence of drowsiness should be assumed. The listed formula includes melatonin and botanicals. Ask your veterinarian about suitability, timing and possible interactions; persistent anxiety needs a broader care plan.

How long will a pack last?

That depends on the number of chews and the serving directions for that specific pack. The 100- and 120-chew options both list 300 g, but the individual chew sizes differ. Check the selected pack’s label before estimating supply; do not assume the same chew count is the same serving across formats.

When should I expect to notice a difference?

There is no guaranteed result or universal timeline. Suitability, response and intended use differ by product and pet. Discuss what to monitor with your veterinarian; do not wait on a supplement when your pet needs medical care.

Can I use this with other supplements or medication?

Ask your veterinarian to review the full ingredient lists together. Similar products can overlap in ingredients, and ā€œnaturalā€ does not establish compatibility or suitability for every pet.

Where can I check the full ingredients and directions?

Down. Well worth the money.

Definitely work!

These calming chews have been a helpful tool to keep on hand. The chicken flavor must be decent because there’s zero hesitation at treat time — always a good sign.

We’ve used them during higher-stress situations and at bedtime when things feel a little restless. They don’t knock our dog out cold, but they do help smooth things out. Think ā€œcalm and settledā€ instead of ā€œlights out.ā€ That’s exactly what I want — relaxed, not groggy.

I like that melatonin is included for sleep support, especially for those nights when routines get thrown off. The chews are soft, easy to break if needed, and haven’t caused any stomach issues for us.

Overall, a practical option for separation stress or occasional sleep support. Not magic, but definitely helpful — and sometimes that’s all you need.

Great flavor, but caused diarrhea

I really hoped these would help with anxiety for my large 97 lb dog, especially for travel. She absolutely loves the taste of them. I'm so glad I tried these prior to travel because they cause her to have diarrhea, the last thing you want when doing a road trip. They may be great for other dogs, but definitely not good for my dog's digestive system. There is a warning on the container that they may cause GI irritation.

These treats are designed to calm your dog from separation or stressful situations like thunderstorms, fireworks, etc.

100 chews in the sealed container. For our dog the recommended dosage is 4 chews so that is about 25 servings making the price a good value.

Soft and chicken flavored, no difficulty with our dog taking them unlike alternatives that can be a challenge.

My Dogs Love Them and They Really Help Calm Them

These calming soft chews have been a great addition for my dogs. They actually enjoy the taste, which is always a big plus because some calming treats can be hard to get dogs to eat. These are soft, easy for them to chew, and they seem to like the flavor.

I’ve been using them during times when my dogs tend to get a little anxious, like when there are loud noises, visitors, or changes in routine. They seem to help take the edge off and make them more relaxed without making them overly sleepy or sluggish.

I also like that the chews are soft and easy to break apart if needed, and the container comes with a generous amount, which makes it a good value.

Overall, these are great calming treats if you’re looking for something to help with mild anxiety or stress for your dogs. Mine enjoy them and they’ve worked well for helping them stay a little more calm.

Worked Great On My Rescue

I ordered this for my 5 year old rescue who has anxiety every time there is a storm. These chews are soft and a decent size for even smaller dogs. I had to give hom a couple the other day when we had a few thunderstorms come through our area. It took about 20 minutes before I started to see them kick in as he became more relaxed. He also liked the taste which is a plus. I am in transition and will be moving soon and these are going to be a great help for him through the process. I recommend them.

The dogs love them!

My dogs get so excited for these "treats". We've been giving them to them before the storms that have been hitting us. Have I noticed a change? No not really. They are not calm but that may just be our odd balls. They smell like dog food that's a plus since they will refuse all things that are medicinal. They must taste great, I don't even think they could tell the flavor due to them inhaling the chews. The quality of the OurCares chews are far superior to many other options, since it's actually a chew and doesn't turn to dust when its picked up or falls on the floor.

Seemed to be mostly ineffective on my dog.

I honestly don't really know that these shoes are worth spending money on. I just can't really tell where they make a whole lot of difference in my dog. They seem to taste great, he has no trouble eating them! He would eat as many as I let him. They smell really good to me, they smell like a good high-end tree should smell, I don't really smell any vitamin kind of smell like I doing some of these chews that I get. They seem to be well made as far as they're pressed together nice and solid, they don't crumble up in your hand.
But the most important aspect about them, would be do they actually have a good calming effect on my dog, and that I cannot give a positive answer to. I have a West Highland terrier who is normally pretty laid back unless he gets the scent of a rodent in the yard or something like that. But for the most part he's pretty laid back. When he goes to the groomer or to the vet of course he gets anxious and rambunctious. I try to give him a few of these chews an hour or so prior to his appointments to try and mellow him out a bit, but they just really don't seem to have much effect on him. I don't know if it's that the product is not very good, it could be that they're just not very effective on my dog in general. However they just seem to be for the most part ineffective on my dog so I would not buy them again.
In my opinion the asking price for these calming chews is a bit pricey, especially for no better results than what I had with them. I would not recommend this product to my friends and family!
